Hydrotherapy at home
What is more marvellous than to relax in
a bubble bath perfumed with essential oils? A hot bath, between
34 to 36° Celsius, the ideal temperature for relaxation, provokes
dilatation of the pores and increases blood flow. Result: muscular
and nervous relaxation and a better elimination of toxins.
To bring relaxation to the maximum, create an ideal atmosphere
with soft lighting, relaxation music and an infusion or tisane.
This month orthotherapie.net proposes a bath oil recipe just to
pizzazz to your baths.
In 25ml of Soya oil (not the sauce but the oil) or raisin seed
oil add:
- 5ml of orange essential oil
- 5ml of citrus essential oil
- 3ml of sage essential oil
- 3ml of rosemary essential oil
- 5ml of Ylang Ylang essential oil
Carefully mix the ingredients and pour in a nice bottle which you
will close firmly. Let it soak for at least a week before using
your oils in your bath. At the moment of running the water, add
a small spoonful of the mixture to the water this will sufficiently
perfume your bath.
The action of the essential oils doesn’t need to demonstrated.
Not only do they react by passing under the skin but their odour
has a beneficial action for the organism.
Enjoy!
